During our recent family vacation, we chose to stay at Boulas in the charming town of Gérardmer. Traveling with my own two kids, I appreciated how welcoming the atmosphere felt. The hotel, sitting right on the bustling main square, was a fantastic base for exploring the area. We had a clean, quiet room with ample hot water, which made our post-day adventures relaxing. The owner offered private parking for our motorbikes, which was a great convenience, allowing us to explore with ease. Every morning, we gathered as a family for breakfast—nothing fancy, but satisfying enough to fuel our days. The highlight for us was the proximity to Le Poli Ski Resort, just 2.6 miles away. If you’re considering a family-friendly destination that strikes a nice balance between comfort and adventure, then Boulas is a solid choice!
